okay so again im not an expert by any means but if you want to learn guitar but dont wanna go to a class or pay for it, here's all the resources ive used to be entirely self taught. i mean this is of course assuming you have a guitar already (my suggestion is a fender acoustic but check your local pawn shops to see if you can get some sweet deals).
so first youre going to download yousician on your smartphone or computer (you will need a microphone for it) (www.yousician.com). its free every day for up to 10 minutes, for like a month. thatll be enough to teach you the basics if you play every single day. itll also get your calluses formed on your fingers (very important. will hurt, is worth.)
